DraftKings has launched multi-state online poker, connecting players across Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Michigan Gaming Control Board approved the expansion, enabling a unified player pool for the three jurisdictions.
Shared Network and Market Integration
The platform now allows users in each state to compete against one another in real time. Regional licensing restrictions previously kept player bases separate, which limited table availability and tournament sizes. DraftKings implemented the cross-state network to improve matchmaking efficiency and increase game variety.New Jersey and Pennsylvania previously operated a shared poker network under a bilateral agreement. DraftKings now extends that framework to include Michigan following the MGCB decision. The company joins other licensed operators already active in the state’s digital gaming sector.
